Our Story

WHERE WE COME FROM
We grew up in a village in Haryana — where mornings smell like fresh milk and mustard flowers, and where nobody thought twice about what was in their food because everyone could see exactly where it came from.
Haryana raised us on two things: sport and soil. The discipline of a wrestling akhara. The patience of a farmer who knows the rains will come. The stubbornness to keep going when neither the weather nor the market cooperates. These are not metaphors — they are the actual texture of the life we grew up inside.
Food with a face
The ghee that sat on our kitchen shelf came from the cow in the yard. The gur we broke off for our evening chai came from a neighbour's fields. The honey was collected by someone our family knew by name.
Food had a face. It had a place. It had a story. Then we grew up, moved to cities, and watched that story disappear.
SOMEWHERE ALONG THE WAY
Not all at once. Gradually. Quietly. Preservatives crept in. Processing replaced tradition. Labels grew longer while ingredients grew stranger. The farmer got further away — replaced by supply chains, distributors, and middlemen, each one adding a layer between the food and the person eating it.
And what disappeared was not just purity — it was trust. You can read a label and not know what it means. You can buy something that calls itself "natural" and have no idea what that word is worth. You can eat something your grandmother would not recognise, from a farm you cannot name, grown in soil you know nothing about.
"We did not think this was acceptable. And we did not think we were alone in feeling that way."
ONE STUBBORN BELIEF
We go directly to small and family-run farms. We source from farmers we know, whose fields we have visited, whose methods we understand.
HOW WE WORK
Every product is traced back to the farmer who grew it. No aggregators, no anonymous suppliers.
Our products are made with care and traditional methods, without unnecessary industrial processing.
Natural products vary. That variation is not a flaw. It is proof of authenticity.
When we say direct from the farmer, we mean the farmer benefits directly and meaningfully.
Taste a process that has not changed in centuries — only protected.
